Now at least six months overdue, Hyundai is now informing dealers about their software update and rolling out their CarPlay update to eligible owners that will create eight new CarPlay enabled vehicles that range between 2015 to 2017 models.Īs seen in the table below, new CarPlay support will come to the 2016 Elantra GT, 20 non-hybrid Sonata, 2017 Santa Fe Sport, 2017 Santa Fe, 20 Genesis Sedan, and the 2016 Tucson. It has been a frustrating wait for Hyundai owners, who were promised CarPlay support back in 2015.
